Dr. Schippert has more than 20 years of experience working with children in the public school and the private sector. She has been employed as a school psychologist for the past 22 years with the Cherry Creek School District and recently transferred to Jeffco Public Schools. Dr. Schippert conducts cognitive and social-emotional/behavioral evaluations as part of the special education team and provides individual, small group and classroom interventions to support the social-emotional needs of students in both the elementary and preschool settings. In the private sector, Dr. Schippert has worked with children and families experiencing a variety of social-emotional-behavioral challenges and provided psycho-educational assessments and counseling as part of C & M Counseling and Educational Services. She is a licensed school psychologist through the Colorado Department of Education.
Dr. Schippert received her bachelors degree in Social Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1989 her masters degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver in 1990 and her doctorate in School Psychology from the University of Denver in 2004.
